PS-27 Sindh Assembly Shaheed Benazirabad-IV - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Sindh Election, Ghulam Qadir Chandio from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Sindh Assembly MPA, and got 40464 votes, the second runner up was Abdul Hafeez Unar from Pakistan Muslim League who got 10725 votes. 13 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 119307 voters registered in PS-27, out of which 54820 votes were polled out, 53497 votes were valid and 1421 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 45.94 % for PS-27 constituency of Sindh.
