PS-50 Sindh Assembly Hyderabad-VIII - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Sindh Election, Pir Amjad Hussain Shah Jeelani from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Sindh Assembly MPA, and got 51668 votes, the second runner up was Mir Sher Muhammad Talpur from Pakistan Muslim League who got 7501 votes. 14 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 153458 voters registered in PS-50, out of which 61415 votes were polled out, 60715 votes were valid and 700 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 40.02 % for PS-50 constituency of Sindh.
