PS-71 Sindh Assembly Jamshoro-I - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Sindh Election, Dr. Sikandar Ali Shoro from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Sindh Assembly MPA, and got 43450 votes, the second runner up was Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah from Sindh United Party who got 22710 votes. 16 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 185290 voters registered in PS-71, out of which 72018 votes were polled out, 70506 votes were valid and 1512 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 38.86 % for PS-71 constituency of Sindh.
