PS-87 Sindh Assembly Malir-I - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Sindh Election, Muhammad Ali Malkani from Pakistan Muslim League was elected as Member Sindh Assembly MPA, and got 33388 votes, the second runner up was Ghulam Qadir Malkani from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 32193 votes. 5 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 166687 voters registered in PS-87, out of which 67511 votes were polled out, 65902 votes were valid and 1790 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 40.50 % for PS-87 constituency of Sindh.
