Results of PK-8 Swat-VII Bye-Election held on 12 May 2016

The Bye-Election was held on 12th May 2016 in Provincial Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Assembly constituency PK-8 Swat-VII. Arbab Muhammad Waseem Khan from Pakistan Muslim League (n) got 11781 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Malik Tamash Khan from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 10789 votes. Total 13 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 136508 voters registered in PK-8, out of which 46129 votes were polled out, 45223 votes were valid and 906 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 33.79 % for PK-8 constituency of National Assembly.
