Results of PP-136 Sheikhupura-II Bye-Election held on 22 May 2014

The Bye-Election was held on 22nd May 2014 in Provincial Punjab Assembly constituency PP-136 Sheikhupura-II. Lt. Col (r) Shujat Ahmed Khan from Pakistan Muslim League (n) got 42398 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Muhammad Wakeel Khan Manj from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf who got 31906 votes. Total 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 159173 voters registered in PP-136, out of which 95842 votes were polled out, 76129 votes were valid and 996 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 48.45 % for PP-136 constituency of National Assembly.
