Results of PP-243 Bahawalnagar-VII Bye-Election held on 22 August 2013

The Bye-Election was held on 22nd August 2013 in Provincial Punjab Assembly constituency PP-243 Bahawalnagar-VII. Ahmad Ali Khan Darishak from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf got 23099 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Sardar Muhammad Hissam Ud Din Khosa from Pakistan Muslim League (n) who got 19294 votes. Total 6 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 149880 voters registered in PP-243, out of which 61882 votes were polled out, 60489 votes were valid and 1393 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 41.29 % for PP-243 constituency of National Assembly.
