Results of PP-247 Bahawalpur-III Bye-Election held on 22 August 2013

The Bye-Election was held on 22nd August 2013 in Provincial Punjab Assembly constituency PP-247 Bahawalpur-III. Sardar Ali Raza Khan Darishak from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf got 46239 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Abdul Qadir Khan Mamdot from Pakistan Muslim League (n) who got 34920 votes. Total 9 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 188957 voters registered in PP-247, out of which 84445 votes were polled out, 82713 votes were valid and 1732 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 44.69 % for PP-247 constituency of National Assembly.
