Results of PS-106 Karachi East-VIII Bye-Election held on 2 June 2016

The Bye-Election was held on 2nd June 2016 in Provincial Sindh Assembly constituency PS-106 Karachi East-VIII. Mahfooz Yar Khan from Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan got 18137 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Sardar Abdus Samad from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 960 votes. Total 14 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 176395 voters registered in PS-106, out of which 19976 votes were polled out, 19917 votes were valid and 59 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 11.32 % for PS-106 constituency of National Assembly.
