NA-8 National Assembly Malakand Protected Area - Results in 2013 General Election

In 2013 General National Assembly Election, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao from Qaumi Watan Party (Sherpao) was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 37044 votes, the second runner up was Musammir Shah from Jamiat Ulama-e-islam (F) who got 33836 votes. 14 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2013, there were total 327423 voters registered in NA-8, out of which 143540 votes were polled out, 139141 votes were valid and 4625 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 43.63 % for NA-8 constituency of National Assembly.
