PP-253 Punjab Assembly Bahawalpur-IX - Results in 2013 Provincial General Election

In 2013 General Provincial Punjab Election, Ghulam Murtaza Raheem from Independent was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 35269 votes, the second runner up was Muhammad Younas Iqbal from Pakistan Muslim League (N) who got 24536 votes. 17 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2013, there were total 148286 voters registered in PP-253, out of which 105076 votes were polled out, 96237 votes were valid and 3683 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 69 % for PP-253 constituency of Punjab.
