PP-291 Punjab Assembly Dera Ghazi Khan-VII - Results in 2013 Provincial General Election

In 2013 General Provincial Punjab Election, Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bukht from Independent was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 21759 votes, the second runner up was Makhdoom Muhammad Irtaza Hashmi from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 20036 votes. 17 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2013, there were total 135025 voters registered in PP-291, out of which 77434 votes were polled out, 76033 votes were valid and 2629 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 67.35 % for PP-291 constituency of Punjab.
