Results of PP-89 Bhakkar-I Bye-Election held on 6 January 2016

The Bye-Election was held on 6th January 2016 in Provincial Punjab Assembly constituency PP-89 Bhakkar-I. Syed Qutab Ali Shah Ali Baba from Pakistan Muslim League (n) got 55894 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Sonia from Independent who got 35069 votes. Total 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 166613 voters registered in PP-89, out of which 93423 votes were polled out, 92123 votes were valid and 1300 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 56.07 % for PP-89 constituency of National Assembly.
