Results of PS-127 Karachi Central-V Bye-Election held on 8 September 2016

The Bye-Election was held on 8th September 2016 in Provincial Sindh Assembly constituency PS-127 Karachi Central-V. Ghulam Murtaza Baloch from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians got 21187 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Waseem Ahmed from Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan who got 15553 votes. Total 20 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 207467 voters registered in PS-127, out of which 44517 votes were polled out, 44097 votes were valid and 420 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 21 % for PS-127 constituency of National Assembly.
