Results of PP-20 Rawalpindi-XV Bye-Election held on 9 January 2018

The Bye-Election was held on 9th January 2018 in Provincial Punjab Assembly constituency PP-20 Rawalpindi-XV. Sultan Haider Ali Khan from Pakistan Muslim League (n) got 75934 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Tariq Mehmood Afzal from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf who got 46025 votes. Total 4 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 279530 voters registered in PP-20, out of which 141137 votes were polled out, 139308 votes were valid and 1829 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 50.49 % for PP-20 constituency of National Assembly.
