Mian Mumtaz Ahmad Matyana

Mian Mumtaz Ahmad Matyana was born on May 6, 1953 in Chishtian, Punjab. He has been elected as MNA for his second term. He is politically affiliated with PPPP. An agriculturist by profession, he completed his masters degree in 1978 and his LL.B degree in 1981 from University of the Punjab. He previously served as MNA for the term of 1993-1996. He was also elected as MPA Punjab Assembly for the term of 1985-1988 and a member of the District Council Bahawalnagar from 1979-1983. Married with four sons and a daughter, he has travelled to France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Canada, USA, India, Switzerland, UK and Belgium. His hobbies include social work and reading books. Now, he is contesting the general elections 2013 from PTI.
