Rais Ibrahim Khalil Ahmed

Rais Ibrahim Khalil Ahmed son of Rais Wazir Ahmed was born on June 22, 1963 in Karachi. He obtained the degree of LL.B. in 1987 from S.M. Law College, Karachi. An agriculturist, who has remained Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2008-13 and has been re-elected for the second consecutive term in general elections 2013. He has travelled to UK, USA, Germany, Holland, Saudi Arabia and Dubai. His cousin, Rais Munir was MNA during 2002-07 and also served as Federal Minister; his uncle, Rais Shabbir remained Member of Punjab Assembly for four consecutive terms during 1962- 77; Member National Assembly for two consecutive terms during 1985-90; his father-in-law, Mr Ghulam Mujtaba Jatoi served as Member, National Assembly during 1974-77; and Mr Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi, brother of his father-in-law was Prime Minister of Pakistan.
