The reporter from UrduPoint named Nouman Ahmed visited Delhi Gate. At the Kashmir Bazar in Delhi Gate, there is a beautiful Masjid with three minarets (minar). It is a 340 years old mosque from Muhammad Shah’s era. This mosque has immense historical importance. It is called ‘Sonehri Masjid’ because of the gold-colored minarets. It is one of the significant monuments built in the subcontinent. The walls of the mosque are exquisitely painted with flowery designs.
