Abid Ali was among the famous Pakistani actors, directors, and producers. He is still known for his amazing performance as Dilawar Khan in the PTV classic drama Waris in 1979. He was born on 29 March 1952 in Quetta, married twice and had three daughters from his first wife, a singer Humaira Ali. Famous Pakistani model Iman Ali and Rahma Ali are among his daughters from first wife. He was suffering from a severe health issue and died on 5 September 2019 due to liver failure in the hospital. His second wife took his dead body to her home and did not allow his first wife and daughters to attend their father's funeral.
