Zahir Mehmood is an elegant young ravian, doing Mphil in Chemistry from Government College University, Lahore. He has written more than 50 articles in different national and international newspapers like Daily Nawa-i-Waqt, Daily Pakistan, Daily Ausaf etc. One of his translation has been published from New Delhi, India. He served as the president of Sondhi Translation Society in session 2017-18 in GCU. He has won distinguished cash prizes for presenting Stage Dramas for three times at Punjab level. His first book of short stories named "Dholki" got nation-wide recognition and has won "Dhan Chorasi Award". He has been appointed "Youth Ambassador" of Anti Narcotics Force from Punjab by ANF Pakistan. Moreover, he has hosted more than 40 national and international events, seminars and conferences during his graduation. He is associated with the "Urdupoint" as an anchor person since Aug, 2018 and has hosted more than 100 programs about culture, heritage, tourism, education, literature, filmosophy, politics, psychology, religion and ancient archeological sites. He has covered different sites from all four provinces of Pakistan for Urdupoint.
