Gilgit Honors Its Martyrs Through Yaadgar-e-Shuhada Thanks To PML-N

Gilgit Baltistan achieved its independence on 1st November 1947. People of Gilgit fought bravely to drive out the Dogra Raj. A shrine has been made for all the martyrs of the battle, called ‘Yaadgar-e-Shuhada’. This Yaadgaar-e-Shohdah has become a major tourist attraction in Gilgit. People often come to pay their respects to the martyrs. PML-N worker Riaz Ahmed was present at Yaadgar e Shuhada and explained how their government took the initiative of building this shrine.
