In this short film, Nadia Nazir played the role of ‘Pagli’; a mentally-ill woman who roams around the city. Pagli is homeless with no one in this world to take care of her; she sleeps on footpaths, only eats if someone gives her food for free and her only friend is a toy doll she carries. True tragedy occurs when men start harassing her; touching and teasing her. Pagli gets scared, cries and runs away from them. This short film highlights the bitter side of the society where women are unsafe and if they do not have proper shelter or someone to protect them, they fall prey to predators that hurt and harass them.
