Pakistan Paying A Huge Price For Scarce Tomato Growth

The price of tomatoes these days is an all-time high. It is a very common vegetable which is used in almost all the dishes. People are finding it extremely difficult to afford it on the price of 270 to 300 rupees per kilo. One of the vegetable sellers in sabzi mandi revealed that they are buying tomatoes at a rate of 280 per kilo. With this rate, they have no choice other than to sell at a price of 300 to the customers. These tomatoes are coming from Kabul and currently, there is very little growth of tomatoes in Pakistan this season.
