Xinjiang Muslims of China, who settled in Gilgit Baltistan brought with them a unique Chinese culture. They have their own cuisines that have become popular in the Gilgit region over the years. One such dish is Lagman. Abdul Rehman Bukhari visited a Chinese Restaurant that sells the best Lagman. Ghulam Qadir; the owner of the restaurant revealed how Lagman is prepared. First, noodles are prepared with dough and then gravy is prepared with a lot of vegetables. Noodles are topped with the vegetable gravy and that is how Lagman is served.
