Nawaz Sharif filed a high treason case against former General Pervaiz Musharraf for imposing 2007 emergency, which went on in the court for approximately 6 years. Finally, the three judges of the Special Court handed a death penalty to Musharraf according to Article 6 of the constitution. Nawaz Sharif claims that all the cases and pressure against him are due to the fact that he had gone after Musharraf for high treason. Musharraf is admitted in a hospital in Dubai for the past month after deterioration in his health. His lawyers have argued that under the Section 342 of the constitution, it is necessary to record the suspect’s statement before announcing a verdict. Watch the video for complete details.
