A Couple In Gilgit Becomes A Support System For 20 Orphans

This couple in Gilgit started an orphanage 3 years ago and now they are providing support to 20 children. Waheed, who is the founder of this orphanage, says that he himself was an orphan and suffered because of poverty a lot. His personal experiences motivated him to do something for young orphans who have no support. Children in his orphanage study and learn different skills such as knitting and stitching. Mr. and Mrs. Waheed’s orphanage runs on donations and their own money as well. Watch the video to find out more about this couple and how they run an orphanage.
