128 Companies Submits Applications For Investment In Mineral Sector

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Nov, 2016 ) : About 128 companies have submitted online applications for investment in mineral sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa among which nine companies have shown their interest in large scale mining exploration, said spokesman of the department here Tuesday.

He said approximately 622 investors have applied online and 310 investors submitted their hard documents.

He informed Minerals Titled Committee (MTC) would grant lease licenses in January next year adding interest of companies and individual investors is a milestone achievement of the department.

In a short span of one month from 1st to 28th November thousands of individual investors and different companies have applied for procuring lease licenses for different minerals. In December scrutiny of all the companies as well as individual investors would be completed and lease licenses would be allotted to them in January 2017, said the spokesman.
