17 New Schemes Approved

Sargodha, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2025) The District Development Committee on Wednesday approved 17 new development

schemes presented by various departments.

The schemes were approved in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner

Muhammad Wasim.

The approved schemes include one from the highways department, 13 from local government,

two from public health engineering, and one from the walled city project.

The projects aim to strengthen urban infrastructure, improve public facilities, and accelerate

development in the city.

The DC emphasized the importance of transparency in the use of funds and ensuring quality in planning and implementation.

The deputy commissioner directed that the district administration will closely monitor all development

projects and will not tolerate any negligence or delay in their implementation.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Director Development Mahtab Yasin and officials from district

government, public health engineering, highways, buildings, and irrigation departments.
