20,000 Afghan Families Repatriated During August

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th August, 2016) : At least twenty thousand Afghan families have been repatriated to Afghanistan during the first week of August under the voluntary repatriation programmes. According to Radio Pakistan, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is providing four hundred US dollars to each member of Afghan family along with transportation charges.
The government of Afghanistan has allotted land for setting uop a colony in Jalalabad for refugees being repatriated from Pakistan according to the Radio.
