260 Women Get Technical Training In South Waziristan

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th August, 2016) : A technical training center has been established for women in Tiarza area of South Waziristan Agency. The center, established by Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP), a non-governmental organisation (NGO), has so far provided training in tailoring, embroidery and making decoration pieces to 260 women, a private news channel reported. Local people have appreciated the efforts for providing technical training to women and sought establishment of similar training centers for boys and girls in all parts of South Waziristan.
Women are taking keen interest in technical training and many women are getting enrolled in the institution. This institution is going to be a substance institute and it has already trained 260 women during the last six months.
Meanwhile, many women are reaching for registration who can easily be accommodated for next three or four more batches in the institution.
