300 Pakistani Youth To Participate `Int'l Youth Conference' 2016

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd August, 2016) : Country Director Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) Pakistan, Fazal-ur-Rehman Wednesday said that 300 Pakistani Youth would participate in International Youth Conference 2016 to be held from November 12 to 14.
Talking to ptv world news, Fazal-ur-Rehman said the conference was being organized to provide a platform to youth for proving their potential and guide them to achieve their objectives with the help of experts. He said "Our goal is to empower youth by providing the tools and knowledge that will help them develop into future leaders who will instigate positive change in our world". Youth from all over the country would interact and debate with national and international participants to work for bringing about positive change, he said.
Fazal-ur-Rehman said youth comprised over more than half of the Pakistan's total population and was supposed to be the leading stakeholder in various aspects and sectors.
Young people were playing an important role for development and progress in their communities with new and innovative ideas and displaying effective approaches for addressing issues, he added. He said that Youth from all walks of life instead of any specific faculty or institution. International Youth Conference 2016, will provide a platform to youth to excel their knowledge and experience about emerging trends of leadership, diplomacy, cultural, intercultural communication, critical thinking and self-development skills.
