4077 Posts Vacant In CDA: Senate Told

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th july, 2016) : The Senate on Tuesday was informed that currently there were 4077 vacant posts in Capital Development Authority (CDA) and would be filled as and when desired by the concerned formations of the Authority.
In a written reply to a question of Kalsoom Parveen, Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary told that total sanctioned strength of authority was 18,696 and total position posts were 14,619. To another written reply, the House was apprised that an amount of Rs.799.999 million has been spent on repair and maintenance of roads in Islamabad during fiscal year 2015-16. Meanwhile, to a question, the minister said that 23 directorates of CDA have been placed under the administrative control of the Mayor of the Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation alongwith all rights, assets and liabilities.
