Action Against Balochistan Ghost Teachers Before March

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Nov, 2016 ) : Provincial Education Minister, Abdul Raheem Ziaratwal has said that data of ghost and absentee teachers was being collected and added that action would be taken against them before March 2017.
He said that huge money was being spent for bringing improvement in education sector including payment of salaries to teachers. "There are complaints regarding ghost and absentee teachers. We have been taking steps to collect data about them," he said, adding that action would be taken against ghost and absentee teachers as data collection process was completed.
He said that the government did not issue advice for closure of schools.
"Some schools were closed after security threat reported through media," he said, adding that however, the government has been making immediate steps to beef-up security of educational institutions.
He said that the incumbent government increased salaries of teachers. He urged teachers to ensure their attendance at schools to impart education to children. He had accepted 13 out of total 16 demands furnished by Government Teachers Association, he added. President, GTA, Habibur Rehman Mardanzai said that they thanked the Education Minister for fulfilling their demands.
