Agri Deptt Stage Anti-dengue Rally

MULTAN,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd july,2016) : A rally to create awareness among the people about the preventive measures against dengue virus, was staged here on Saturday. Officials from different departments of agriculture sector participated in the rally. Speaking on the occasion, Director Mango Research Institute (MRI) Dr Hameedullah urged the masses to make collective efforts for eradication of dengue mosquitos.
Executive District Officer (EDO) Shafqat Bhatti stated that they should keep environment neat and clean to maintain health.
Director Cotton Research Station (DRS) Dr Sagher Ahmed said that there was dire need to take immense care and water at tyre shops, air coolers, refrigerator trays, and other utensil must be changed on daily basis. Assistant Research Officer Abid Hameed briefed the participants about dengue mosquito eradication.
