Army Chief General Raheel Sharif Met General John Nicholson

Rawalpindi, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st July, 2016) : Pakistan’s Army Chief General Raheel Sharif met with NATO Commander John Nicholson in Afghan, in which they discussed border management mechanisms at Pak-Afghan border and the regional security situation.
According to ISPR, Pakistan Army Chief Gen.
Raheel Sharif met with John Nicholson, commander of coalition forces in Afghanistan. Matters of mutual interest including the regional security situation were discussed during the meeting.
According to ISPR, during the meeting Pak-Afghan border management mechanism and sustainable peace in Afghanistan was also discussed. Gen. John Nicholson said that efforts of military services to eliminate the nexus of terrorists are appreciable, while Pakistan's efforts for peace in the region are praiseworthy.
