
BISP Hosts Reception To Celebrate Senator Rubina Khalid’s Re-election

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2025) A grand reception was held at the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Headquarters on Wednesday to celebrate the re-election of Senator Rubina Khalid for a third term in the Senate.
The event was jointly organized by the BISP Officers Association Pakistan and the All Pakistan BISP Employees Welfare Association.
BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from officers and staff.
She was joined by Additional Secretary Dr. Asmat Nawaz and all Director Generals for the ceremonial cake-cutting, symbolizing collective pride in her continued leadership.
The event was coordinated by Sardar Azmat Khan, President of the BISP Officers Association, and Sardar Shiraz Ahmed, President of the BISP Employees Welfare Association.
In her address, the Chairperson BISP said, “This success is not mine alone, rather it belongs to all of us. The journey we started for the welfare of BISP beneficiaries must continue with renewed strength. Through the Senate platform, we will work to strengthen the institution and address the concerns of its employees.”
She reaffirmed her commitment to transforming BISP into a more dynamic and impactful organization for the benefit of the country’s most vulnerable populations.
Additional Secretary Dr. Asmat Nawaz congratulated Senator Khalid on her re-election and assured full support to her vision. He emphasized that under her leadership, BISP will continue to deliver on its mission with greater commitment and focus.
