ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th August, 2016) : Indian Former Home Minister P Chidambaram said on Wednesday that the statement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has only worsened the situation in occupied Kashmir. Chidambaram, in a statement, expressed concern over the current state in the Valley adding that the loss of lives of kashmiri youth, other civilians and security forces has devastated all of us.
This must stop, a private news channel reported. The statements of the Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar have exacerbated the crisis in the valley. Moderation in words and actions alone can settle the decades-old dispute, Chidambaram added.
