'CPEC To Improve Economic Condition Of Under Privileged Areas'

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th August, 2016) : The China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a golden opportunity for Pakistan to improve socio-economic equation of its less-developed areas and under-privileged population. It was stated by Shah Faisal Afridi, the Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry president, in a statement here on Friday.
He said Pakistan has the geostrategic importance to inter link various parts of the world. He mentioned China attached great importance to the CPEC because it knew that the early completion of CPEC projects will have a positive impact on other parts of One Belt One Road (OBOR).
Afridi said with Chinese collaboration, Pakistan got an appropriate expertise and experience in building infrastructure facilities.
China had helped Pakistan a lot in technological advancement as well, he added. He said: "With the support available to Pakistan from China, we have reached to a point where we have to further improve quality of development activities."
