Customs Team Seizes Huge Cache Of Contraband, Three Suspects Held

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd September, 2016) : The Customs Anti Smuggling Organization seized a huge cache of contraband items in a raid in Tower Market area here on Friday. Addressing a press conference at the Model Customs Collectorate, the Additional Director Rehmatullah Vistro informed that illegally imported cigarettes, pan parag (flavoured betel nuts), cigarette filters, and other items worth around Rs 300 million had been confiscated.

According to him, a team of the Anti Smuggling Organization raided a warehouse behind Shahbaz Medical store and seized the material which was being unloaded from a 10-wheeler truck. Vistro informed that 3 suspects had been arrested from the spot while owner of the warehouse and driver and cleaner of the truck escaped.
