Dacoit Gang Arrested

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jun, 2026) A police team led by the Station House Officer (SHO) Sherakot arrested two alleged members of a dacoit gang involved in street crimes and robberies at gunpoint on Thursday.
According to SP Iqbal Town Sidra Khan, the suspects, identified as Sahil and Mujahid, were allegedly involved in depriving citizens of cash and valuables at gunpoint in different areas.
The suspects were arrested near Zohar Shah Darbar in Babu Sabu following a tip-off received by police, she said.
Police recovered a pistol with ammunition, a motorcycle and thousands of rupees in cash from their possession.
A case has been registered against the suspects, who have been handed over to the Investigation Wing for further interrogation and legal proceedings.
