
DC Distributes Relief Assistance Among Deserving Families In Taluka Daur

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Abdul Samad Nizamani, PPP District President Muhammad Salim Zardari and President Nari Development Organization Azra Memon, distributed relief assistance among deserving families in village Khadim Hussain Shar, Taluka Daur, under a humanitarian initiative.
The distribution was carried out under the “Heatwave Anticipatory Action 2026” project, implemented by the Nari Development Organization (NDO) in collaboration with Muslim Hands and with support from the Start Network. A total of 68 deserving families received ration packages, while 63 families were provided with smart solar systems and solar fans.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Samad Nizamani and other speakers said that the initiative aimed to support families affected by ongoing heatwave by reducing their hardships and improving access to basic necessities.
They noted that rising temperatures and electricity load shedding have created significant challenges for residents, and the provision of solar systems would offer much-needed relief and ease daily life. The speakers appreciated the efforts of Nari Development Organization for assisting vulnerable communities, calling it a commendable step. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to district administration and partner organizations for the timely support.
Among others present on the occasion were SAFCO Daur representative Liaquat Ali, NDO Project Coordinator Mukhtiar Ali Laghari, Abdul Ghafoor, and other officials.
