
DC Shaheed Benazirabad Directs Officials To Furnish Details Of Dilapidated Buildings

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2025) Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Abdul Samad Nizamani, has directed that identification of dilapidated and dangerous buildings in the District must be carried out without delay. He was chairing a meeting convened for this purpose. The meeting was attended by officers from the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), Executive Engineer Provincial Buildings, and Director Information Muhammad Moosa Gondal.
During the briefing, SBCA officials informed the meeting that around 15 buildings in the district have been identified as dangerous. Details of these structures have already been submitted to the technical committee of the SBCA.
The technical committee will inspect the buildings, after which the process of vacating and demolishing these hazardous structures will begin. Deputy Commissioner instructed the relevant officials to conduct a comprehensive survey across the District and submit a detailed report regarding all such buildings. DC also appealed to the public to report regarding any dangerous or dilapidated buildings in their neighborhoods.
