DDC Approves 91 Development Schemes

SARGODHA, Apr 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Apr, 2017 ) : The District Development Committee (DDC) on Monday approved 91 development schemes worth Rs 1 billion. The decision was taken in a meeting of District Development Committee (DDC) presided over by the Deputy Commissioner Liaqat Ali Chatha while among the other participants were Additional Commissioner Maria Tariq, ADCG Zulqarnain Langrial, Deputy director development and officials of building department and local government.
The meeting approved 32 development schemes suggested by Provincial Minister Minority's affairs Tahir Khalil Sandhu for renovation of churches, community centers at Christian colonies and boundary walls which will cost Rs 31 million.
Similarly, the meeting also approved seven schemes of electricity worth Rs 18 million for NA-65, PP-28 and PP-31. The meeting also approved 16 development schemes for PP-32. The DC directed the officials concerned to ensure quality of work of the schemes.
