
Efforts Continued To Remove Ticks From Animals

SARGODHA,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Augst,2016) : All possible arrangements have been completed to remove ticks from animals. This was said by Director Livestock Dr Allah Dawaya while talking to APP here on Thursday. He said the livestock department had also made arrangements for awareness campaigns about Congo virus and directed officers to utilise all resources.
He said more than 500 small and big animals while over 300 vehicles used for animal transportation were sprayed with anti-ticks medicines.
The officials of the live stock department had also been deployed at entry and exit points for spray, he added. He said measures had been taken to counter ticks at slaughter houses and animal markets.
