Efforts Underway To Wipe Out Dengue: Advisor

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Augst,2016) : Advisor to Chief Minister on Dengue Control Dr Waseem Akram on Friday said that all resources are being utilized for eliminating dengue. He said that concerned departments are fully mobilized for the task.

Addressing the session of a workshop of female workers, he directed all concerned departments to keep a close liaison with each other and public representatives to completely wipe out the outbreak of dengue. He directed that anti-dengue regulations be fully implemented and stern action be taken against those failing to comply with the laws.

He asked the workers to create awareness among the house-wives to keep their houses clean and leaving no place wet or with stagnant water. The Advisor also highlighted steps of Punjab government for controling the spread of dengue larvae.
