
'Emergency Department Of SGR Hospital Providing Facilities To Patients'

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th july, 2016) : Sir Ganga Ram (SGR) Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Nauman Matloob Mashhadi has said the hospital was providing quality healthcare facilities to patients according to the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
In a press statement issued here on Tuesday, he said that all medicines and disposables were being provided to the emergency and indoor patients free of cost. Moreover, out of 19 ventilators, 18 are in fully working condition while one ventilator is under repair, he said. Dr.
Nauman Matloob further said that hospital was providing free treatment facilities to average 35,000 patients in emergency ward every month in which patients of gynae, general surgery and general medicines are included.
He further said that central oxygen system in the emergency department was fully functional. He said that free MRI and CT Scan diagnostic tests of poor, deserving and entitled patients are also being done. Dr. Nauman Matloob informed that 36 senior and junior nurses are performing 24/7 duties in the Peads Department of the hospital. r>
