Factory producing spurious drugs unearthed

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Dec, 2016 ) : The Health Department team unearthed an illegal drug factory and seized a large quantity of spurious drugs in the precincts of Sandal Bar police station.

Police spokesman said Wednesday that a team conducted a surprise raid in Chak No 31-JB and unearthed a factory where spurious drugs were being manufactured.

The raid team sealed the factory premises and took a large quantity of spurious drugs into custody.

The people working at the factory however managed to escape from the scene. However, the police registered a case against accused Sikandar etc. under the Drug Act and started raids for their arrest, spokesman added.
