Family Of Zulfiqar Receives Felicitations From People

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th july, 2016) : On postponement of execution of Zulfiqar Ali, a Pakistani citizen in Indonesia, his family and friends celebrated the news by distributing sweets.
A large number of people of the area visited Zulfiqar's home at Mughulpura here on Friday to congratulate the family.
The family members thanked Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for his efforts and expressed hope that Zulfiqar would be released soon now. Zulfiqar Ali was one of the 14 convicts awarded death sentence by the Indonesian court for drugs smuggling, and he was to be executed on July 28. But, on the right-time intervention of the Pakistan government, his execution was postponed by the Indonesian government.
