Five Food Outlets Sealed

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st july,2016) : The Punjab Food Authority (PFA), during its ongoing crackdown on substandard food items, sealed another five food outlets on Thursday. According to the PFA officials, a 'Nimko' factory at Chandrai Road was sealed over use of substandard oil, while the team also seized huge quantity of food items.
Other four food outlets/ shops, located in different areas of the city, were also found selling substandard, unhygienic food items, juices, milk etc., while special teams also imposed heavy fines on three outlets and directed them to improve conditions. The raids were conducted by officials of Punjab Food Authority along with special teams of different towns administrations.
