Flash Flood Likely In Parts Of Balochistan

QUETTA,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -1st Sep,2016) : The Met Office has forecast likely flash flood in vulnerable areas of Balochistan province which might be triggered by heavy rains during next 48 hours. A press release issued by the local Met Office, here on Thursday said, "Isolated dust/thunderstorm/rain along with gusty winds could occur over Zhob, Musakhel, Sherani, Qilla Saifullah, Barkhan, Loralai, Pishin, Quetta, Qilla Abdullah, Noshki, Mastung, Sibbi, Harnai, Ziarat, Kholu, Dera Bugti, Bolan, Naseerabad, Jhal Magsi, Jaffarabad, Kalat, Khuzdar, Awaran and Lasbella districts".

"Further, a few heavy falls could occur over Sibbi, Kholu, Dera Bugti, Barkhan and Naseerabad districts, which may trigger Flash Flooding in the vulnerable areas," it said.
